HOW WE RATE AND REVIEW PRODUCTS

Our reviews are hands-on, thorough, and designed to help you make informed decisions. Here’s how we test and rate tech products at DigitalNerds:

• Real-World Testing: We use products as you would—daily, in diverse scenarios—to assess performance, durability, and usability.
• Benchmarks: For gadgets like phones or laptops, we run standardized tests (e.g., battery life, CPU speed) alongside real-world use.
• Criteria: We evaluate design, features, performance, value, and support, tailored to each product category.
• Scoring: Products get a 1-10 rating based on weighted factors. No score is final until we’ve tested extensively—usually a week or more.
• Comparisons: We stack products against competitors to highlight strengths and weaknesses.
• Honesty: If it’s great, we’ll say so. If it flops, we won’t sugarcoat it.
